He's nowtakento a particular plant inside my office and wasn't too nice today! Yesterday he was curious, today he went into freak mode on the lens :evil:

gorgeous shots! i like both..but the first is better IMO because you have the one arm/claw/thingy in the dof..and is brilliantly sharp..

the first is no doubt a keeper!

Thanks for all the replies guys... I'm still learning all this stuff but really enjoying the process!

Steffan, the camera used was actually a Nikon 4300, it takes decent macro shots, I wish it was more versatile but it will work for now...

He's probably trying to get you to turnthe cameraaround. You should know by now that the subject always wants to see how the picture came out on a digital camera! :-)

Excellent shots. I haven't seen a mantis in years.
