good shots, Nice and clear.i think the first one is a wasp that if we see them over here (australia) we are told to report them the the department of agriculture protection. They want them outa our country as they are not natives to us and cause problems.

Wasps are good for the garden though. They're carnivores and eat the real pests. Still, I won't miss them if they go. :lol: People were complaining of a plague of them this summer but we never saw one. Now in the last two weeks I'm killing 6+ a day. We think it was a wasp that stung Pickles and made her nose swell up. Every time she sees one she runs a mile.

Good, crisp and bright images Chris. That Gendarme is odd. I've never seen one.

english name is fire bug

HEMIPTERA order
