All of the guesses so far have been good ones...but they're all wrong. Here is another shot, zoomed out a little bit. Remember, I said this is part of something. The main object has two parts. This miniature tea set in on one of the two parts. I screwed up the DOF on this one but you can see what is important.

Remember, that little teacup is only about 1/4" across. If that were the top to a cookie jar, do you think you could get the cookies in or out. Not, it's not a cookie jar.

Nadia is the winner! It is an accessory piece in the Royal Albert china series. The pattern is "Old Country Roses"
