I like the last one best also, everything included, all the flowers, all the reflections, also agree about the white spot. Your post should have been titled "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" by George Harrison. :-) Nice shots Vito!

I liked the last one the most. You are very creative, I could never think of the photo's you put together. The reflection of the rose was awsome.

Hello Vito;

Very good work. Obvoiusly a well-though-out shoot. (plural) The series shows planning and consideration. I like the second version best, for the following reasons:

1. The rose looks better with the petals intact, not clipped.

2. The reflection of the rose is clearer in this shot.

3.This shot has the best definition of the background.

4. It is still close enough to be a very intimate shot. (compared to the later, slightly wider shots)

One thing, though... The Tremolo bar is pointing directly at the camera, and is the only element that is not in focus. To be truthful, it is a little distracting. (please don't be offended, I am a great admirer of your shots and your insights. I follow many of your posts)

Truly excellent work, Vito.

Tom, on Point Pelee, Canada

P.S. I wish MY guitar was that shiny.

thank you tom!

i'm glad you've been posting here!

you put some time and thought into your posts! i appreciate it!

i'm glad you like these...don't worry about offending me...i'm here to learn (haha i've learned alot here, in the past 8 or 9 months!)

i really appreciate any comments/critique....so next time my mom or one of my sisters gets a rose, i can do this over, and better!

i agree about the whammy bar...i didn't know what to do with it...i'll play around next rose

*start infomercial* You're guitar could be that shiny TOO!! just buy "Gibson Guitar Polish" and a lint free rag! All you do, is spray some "Gibson Guitar Polish" on the lint free rag, and buff till shiny! *end infomercial*

lol
