ok, since you took it today, i can give you suggestions on how to make it better...

ok, the rose is a little overexposed...probably cuz the leaves look about perfect...

i would suggest either taking a second shot exposing for the rose and combine them in photoshop...

hm...also...you'll probably want the whole reflection in the shot... so frame it so the rose itself is up and to the left a bit...

and, it might add alot (might is the key word here ) to the composition, if you have the stem coming in from the corner...

ok, done with the suggestions...now on to the compliments

nicely set up...good lighting...great job with the glass/sheet combination...the reflection is great!

ok..onemore suggestion take a small lamp...and give it some sidelighting on a couple shots...see if it works out...maybe some backlighting

play around with light placement..

well done bache!

Vito

I like it, but then I love roses a lot:-)White flowers are always harder to get right. You've done a reasonable job here.

Hello, Bache;

I'd say you're well on the way to taking some great shots. Listen to Vito; he's a thoughtful photographer. Like the lady said, white is harder to expose properly, but the leaves look great.

Regards,

Tom, on Point Pelee, Canada
