I am using Nikon 3200, my very first digicam. I have no experience in photography, I'm still learning..I like shooting at Macro. But this cam is auto fucos, its really hard to mentain DOF. can anybody give me some TIP! anyway just showing what i got...:arrow:

Very nice first try Blazepsi, to increase the DOF, go with a smaller aperture (higher f-stop number). I'm not familar with the Nikon 3200 but if there is an aperture priority mode on it, use that. Keep in mind though, increasing the DOF too much can leave you with a distracting background to deal with, in your post, the out of focus background draws your eyes to the main subject.

By the way, greetings to the Philippines, my wife is a filipina and we have a vacation home near Ormoc on Leyte, it makes for a great break from the Minnesota winter. Mabuhay, and welcome to the forum...

Thanks for the advice....I dont think i can adjust the aperture.3200 is full auto the only thing you can adjsut is the exposure...anyway, this might help me when i got newer cam...

My favorite is the second one. I also like the spider with blades of grass, but I'd try to focus the eyes on that one. There is great clarity on some of the water drops but not on his eyes.

Looks like you are having fun experimenting. Isn't that what it is all about?
