you know wat...you've helped me realize something...

lol, i tried to set up this sort of shot....pretty much failed....

i'd be better off finding it set up for me

anyways, great shot i like how the leaf is surrounded by evergreen twigs!

Very nicely framed. Good job.

I'm with Vito; you could either spend an hour trying to set up and light a shot like this, or just go for a ride.A little technique I'm training myself to use... whenever I go out for some nature shots,I always try to look around for the little details (like this leaf) which weren't even part of the shot I stopped for. (does that make any sense at all?)

Very nice shot.

tom! i do the same thing...this morning, i went to take pictures of the sunrise at the local reservior...and itook a couple shots of these leaves that had fallen, on top of small pebbles..lol
