Taken this today...the only good shot out of the lot (for insects, the fungus I posted earlier were the other 2)......just to share with you all. I find that at ISO 100, its kind of noisy. Dida cleanimage of the first one and tried a 'filter>noise>despeckle' on it. Not sure what 'despeckle' does, but it seem to remove noise????

The above was the horizontal flip of this one below. And I cropped this to frame the eyes. This was the sharpest eyes I have ever taken to date!:-)

Settings:
Model: DMC-FZ10
Aperture: f/8.0
ISO: 100
Exposure Time: 0.01s (10/1000)
JPEG Quality: fine
Flash: External bounced
Exposure Program: Manual

Add on close up lens: Nikon 6T and Sigma Achromatic close up lens. Info of which can be found here:

Excellent. Did you stack these lenses or was one taken with the Nikon and one taken with the Sigma?

It was taken stacked together. Both pictures are the same pic. The original one was the 2nd pic, but cropped tightlyto empasize the eyes.

For the first one, I flip the original one horizontally, and cropped it again for better composition.

Oh, the Sigma lens was from my previous equipment (Sigma 70-300 zoom APO lens for my SLR camera), and I just use the close up filter for the FZ10.
