First of all I must thank Ferny for the idea of CD's. And there is no contest that ferny's pics are a WHOLE lot better than these. But I wanted to try macro. I have a D70 with the 18-70mm lens which has not worked well with my macro shot.

I'm interested in getting a close-up filter but I have no clue for what to look for. Any recommendations would help out alot. A few other question about them I have are how do they work and do they help your lense focus on closer subjects.

Again I'd like to thank ferny and say thereis no way comparison to the 2 set. His are unbelievalbr awesome and mine are unbelievably crappy.

I smeared Vicks on the bottom of the CD and then took an eyedropper and placed all the droplets where I felt needed.

Nice colors, but I think the water droplets are too manufactured. You could tell that you placed them on yourself.I think you should take a CD and just splash some water on it then find the composition from there. Great shots tho. Their not as bad as you think!

That's what I intended it to look like. I saw ferny's pictures and it gave me this idea. But thanks for the productive critisim and thanks for the compliment on the colors.
