What's your technique for keeping the flower that still (at the garden) for the 1/5" exposure at f/8?

No secret, itwas just real calm in the area were that flower was. There were other parts of the Botanicle gardens were it was windy from heating fans. There i used flash to freeze subject but for this one it was just real calm no wind that i could detect. So long exposure with natural light was the way to go.

Well, I'm still impressed ;-) I got the same lens recently, and can't seem to keep things (flowers, bugs) still enough outside to do anything similar yet, but only had it a week so I guess I shouldn't expect it.

Thanks for the response, and maybe I'll find a simlilarly calm day around here sometime.
