Just a test of a new reflector.
I have worked with diffusors for the onboard flash, but this is bouncing with a reflector:

The contrast is better and there are smooth shadows!
This looks better than diffused light.

thanks ELDDJOC,

the Panasonic FZ5 is set to: F/8, flash mode, fixed distance, 4* zoom, closeup lens: olympus mcon 40.

The development of the flash technique can be seen in this thread:

http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=23

the lastest diffusor/bouncer is no longer panasonic specific.

Hello Sven

do you make all your flash tests indoor or have you got a balcony at home to try some outdoor flash shots?

No balcony! But I have seen a door lately in this house, hope I will find it again....
I have stopped development, there will be outdoor shots soon.
The intial tests had to be done in dark rooms, to see the effect of the artificial light alone.

returning...

Just got a shock from nature, all is painted in mysterious white!

Both pictures were take in very shaded areas, the da Vinci Bouncer added some sun light.
