My daughter asked me to take a picture of her ladybug the day before, which would also be my first macro shot here:-)

Bahadir, that is one of the best shots I have seen on here in quite a while. The DOF is excellent and your daughters pose is beautiful. The Ladybug and flowerareso sharp, crisp and clear. This really is an A1 excellent quintessential shot. I would consider my photographic attempts a huge success if I took a shot like this. Seems little girls have quite a fondness for these little creatures. My daughter loves to have snail and Ladybug parties in the garden and feeds them grass and bread!

Regards,

SYd

Syd, you know, paying attention to the will of a little girl could also be rewarding to her parent at times!:-)
I feel lucky not to have postponed this shot when she asked me, as I was leaving at the door. Thank you for the great encouragement which we all need keep for hard times especially.

Vsc1, your kind words remind me that there are still things I can do with this small camera..Thank you for your appreciation.

Bahadir,

Just a quick reply... what can I say but this is a FANTASTIC photo. It deserves to be on the cover of a kids nature magazine or science / biology textbook or something like that. Your daughter did well to set up this scenario for a great photo, and well done to you for executing a fine display of photography genius!

What an amazing picture, bahadir. As Paul well stated, this photo deserves to be on a magazine cover for sure. The problem with perfect pictures is that we can't say much about them!!! Cheers.

Syd- Please tell your daughter that we're sooo delighted to see her pet ladybug. And I guess she also named her pet. My daughter's is Pini :-)
I wonder if it's allright to let them know that these ladybugs are in fact great predators!!

Paul, how delightful to see you! Hey, it seems the big boys are around here:G
Your kind words are as valuable as gold to a sentimental man such as myself!! Let me tell you that one of the reasons I bring my little camera almost everwhere I go, is to share any prospective beautiful image with friends from Steve's Digicams.. :-)
