These are my first pics ( took about 20, these 2 are the best) with my new nikon 6T and 5T stacked. this guy was about the size of my finger nail, really small. thought id get a bit more magification, but guess il just have to get a raynox. also included is a garden spider, taken with the panasonic close up lens. I know theres room for improvment, so criticism is much appriciated

I dont know what lens you used with the 5T and 6T but if youwant more magnification you severaloptions:

1) Use extension rings.

2) Use a bigger FL lens.

3) Use one or moreteleconverters.

4) Use one or more extra closeup filters.

5) Use a combination of all of the above.

Of course as the magification gets greater you will inevitably run into a few problems...You will find that you will need need more and more light to adequately light the subject, but the biggest problem is thatas the maginfication gets greater the working distancegets shorter making it harder and harder to throw adequate lighting on the subject.

There are a couple ofways around it,...Use a long FL macro lens as it will have a greater working distance than shorter FL macro lens and use a teleconverter as it will give you greater maginication without shortening the working distance.

Regards
