Did you use flash with the second one?
The first one is kind of blurry around the edges. I guess these pictures have been taken in a rather dark room. Low ISO maybe?

I like the second one best, it's sharper than the first one. Nice pictures though! I'm a beginners also, for the record.

hey there shoshone.
thanks for the reply.
yip the room is quite dark, because its breeding season we dont keep many lights on.
they both have a flash on, the first pic is taken in a tank with lots and lots of moisture and the lenz was steaming up ha ha, i think thats what cause some of the blurriness.
the second pic was taken in the same room, just in a different tank, one with a whole lot less moisture and heat, also with a flash.

thanks for the reply though. i practising a lot with this macro stuff, i just need to learn whats croppign all about so that i can resize my pics properly.

thanks a mill.
chat again soon.

hey there gimli.
the yellow snake is a Green Tree Python.
its also known as a CHONDRO python.
the reason they call it a GREEN tree python is because as it ages, it turns into a full green, and the red turns white.
they also r born red with white spots, and will also as they mature become full green with white spots.

the green snake in the 2nd pic is a white lipped viper.

the green tree python is a constrictor, the white lipped viper is venomous.

thanks for the reply.
chat again soon.
Bryce.
