Well the unit arrived well packed but alas no usb printer lead, why? they must cost only pence to manufacturers. lucky I had 1 or 2 knocking about.

Took all the wrappings and tapes off, loaded some ordinary copier paper. put the cartridges in. connected mains, & usb to pc. switched on printer then powered up pc. loaded drivers.and after a couple of setup sheet we was away ( all of 7mins I suppose)

Results of printing are o/k but theydon't compare with inkjets, but for everday colour printing they are fine, red tends to be on the brown side,

Well worth the £141 GBP it cost me inUK. just to have the thing print straight away instead of head cleans blocked heads etc.

I also have located and ordered refill toners for all colours and black for just over £30 GBP:-)

Hi,

I found with the Samsung Toners you have to shake them before using them. If not you get the results of an inkjet printer without using the cleaning cycle.

I would be interested to see a picture from the new printer if you have one. It would be great for me, As I need something cheaper to use for business cards,Flyers,Brochures, ETC.

TIA

I have been researching about colour laser printers for quite some time now.

Have a look at the Ricoh SP 411dn - this printer seems to have all the bells and whistles including: excellent print quality and probably the lowest running costs.

Hope that helps.

Hi Barn Owl,

I think this Samsung Color Laser Printer is going to be my next printer. I also have found a supplier for the toner for around $35.00. The cartridges look like they are easy to refill also.

My wife uses a Samsung ML-2250 for her business and it produces very good results. I have just started refilling the cartridges for it. $8.00 a refill.
