Hi,
I have a pretty new Hp Color Laserjet 1600 and now when I use special glossy Laser paper I can see some darker lines throughout the picture. It seems like the toner is brought onto the paper in some places more or less, depending where the revolver drum has been... This is mostly seen, when I print pretty dark color photos. Does anybody know, how to fix this ? Do I have to make any calibration first with this printer or is the drum beginning and end always to be seen in darker pictures as darker area lines ? Many thanks. Regards. Stefan. |

Stinkyink now offer toner cartridges for the HP Laserjet 1600 toner. Oh and it's free delivery too!

Hi, I also have the Hp Color Laserjet 1600 for a couple of years and it works just fine. However, there’s a strange problem that I’m experiencing in the last few days – I’m trying to print a test page directly from my browser – the font on screen isn’t the font that is being printed, I suspected that this might be an old driver problem so I updated the driver with the latest one, but I still get that strange problem. Any idea where it comes from - is it a printer problem that it can’t recognize the font on screen? How can I get a match of 1:1?
