Default Got one!

A few months ago, I submitted my name to Google, Inc. to receive a free laptop with their new operating system, Chrome OS as a field tester. I'd completely forgotten about it until UPS deliver one to my door. Pretty cool!

Cool, Congrats! But, what type of CPU and graphics does it have, how much memory, and have you tried setting it up in a dual boot with another OS, too? :-)

Just as a mater of curiosity, gjtoth, do you use the same "handle" on several message boards?

Wondering if Google picked their testers on the basis of the likelihood of comments being posted. Seems like something Google could do, and would make a fair amount of sense. Esp if there was no filter beyond volume of posts to pick the tester, e.g., on political forums?, banking forums?, computer forums?, OS forums?, ..., and esp photography forums?. Make real good sense if they did something like that. Likely to get a bunch of (on average) unbiased opinions.

Google does report "About 13,500 results" when serching for gjtoth

Yes.

If I were that curious, I'd just point blank ask 'em what criteria they used. They're passing out 60,000 of these things. They are still in HEAVY beta and as they state, "not for the feint of heart".
