My problem is that I can't remove a folder on my CF-card after formatting the card in my Nikon D70. The folder is empty. All other folders were removed OK.
Thanks for any help. |

When you shoot, where are the files put? Are they being put into that folder?

I have two folders now. One is NCD70 and the other is CONOR. If I don't select CONOR for my photos they go into NCD70. If I select the CONOR folder, the photos are stored there. Now I put photos in both folders and confirm.
Next, I format the card. Both folders are now empty but the folder names remain. What folders should remain, if any, after formatting? Thanks for your help. |

Sounds like time to check the camera manual. Both cameras I have create their own folders when I format the cards. One of them is set up to create a new folder for the date, so when I start up the camera for the day, it creates a folder for the date. It also has a camera data folder which (I think) holds info such as DPOF, and slide show sequences. The other just has the initial folder and puts everything in it.
