There are a lot of members and threads here. So when I log on I usually click on 'new posts'. Once in a while I'll post within a thread I am viewing.
And if its a long post I may have to log in again. No problem. However I can no longer click my back button to return to the point I was before starting to post. If I just click on 'new posts' I don't see all the unread threads that were available to me when i first logged in. Is therre a way to increase the 'time out' setting??? |

When you log in, check the box that says "Remember Me" (right next to where you enter your member name). That way, you won't have to worry about logging in again until you select the "Log Out" menu choice.
As for "New Posts", you may want to use the "Today's Posts" choice instead. It's my most most frequently used forums feature (mostly so I can keep an eye out for spammers). ;-) |

FYI, "Today's Posts" is under the "Quick Links" tab.

Unless you click "Log Out" or delete cookies, you won't need to Log In again on the same PC when using the same browser (Firerfox, IE, etc.) if you check the box to "Remember Me" when you Log In.
