Hi Everyone,
Trying to take a pic yesterday not sure if this works at all. pic 1 is standard. on 2 i used the highlight shadow jobber, the dodge tool on the tree and some blur round the edges. I quite like it. but it's not as good as i'de like and i'm tinking there maybe more in pshop i could do to make it look better or maybe im kidding myself and the compositions just not good enough. m |

Actually to me the problem is the blown highlights in both photos in the sky and grass and the resulting purple fringing in those highlight areas. I think the composition could work well but those blown highlights are way too distracting for my tastes.

Every picture can be improved to some degree. Its just whether or not its worth the effort. Only you can decide that. Was this worth it?

Thank you John, I see what your saying about the highlights, haven't noticed the purple though. Bynx Every picture can be improved to some degree. Its just whether or not its worth the effort. Only you can decide that. Was this worth it? Thanks Bynx for making some adjustments, I see now the highlights have detail in them and the whole pic looks like it has more contrast, and is much harder. the people at the home all agree it's really improved it. I prefer the second pic because its softer. Amazed by what a big difference you have made to it. thank you. think ill have a look for some online tutorials for pshop. Thanks Everyone. mark |
