I've had a bit said about this in various places but i'm always interested to hear
anyones view. It was taken in Edinburgh during the Fringe festival, i can only post the one but the woman was a 'street statue' (?), she was holding the mirror ball in various poses. I was about 15 feet away and i saw the pic in my head when i saw her, it was one of those 'I wonder if' shots that i think did work out. Nikon D90: Nikon 70-300mm: Hand held.

i think you have took a wonderful shot and your idea of taking the shot was fantastic rob.... good compostion with the background too my only one tiniest of niggles and not to be taken as that much of a issue is the ball joint line and that one is out of your hands'

Thank you, it was only when i put it up on the Pc i noticed the joint lines.
Through the viewfinder it looked a perfectly clear reflection. Maybe my eyes are going...

I particularly like the reflection of the child in the ball, was it 2009 you were there? if so you must of gone to the high Street on the only dry day of the festival, the weather was dire here this summer!

This shot reminds me of those taken of the Bean in Boston. Its a large reflective shape where everything is in the reflection. This is good.
