Hello all

Maybe someone can help. I would like to start digiscoping and am looking at a celestron c5 spotting scope. I have a nikon d200 and would like to adapt the nikon fsa-l1 adapter to the scope.

1)would this be possible?

2) Would I still have the ap priority and metering modes available as with the fieldscope ed111 and the fsa-l1.

I would like to go this route as the fieldscope is a little high for my budget and the fact that the celstron c5 has a lager 127mm lens and with the focal reducer has a fixed f6.3 apature compared to f11 on the fieldscope.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

(added in edit) I have a sony dsc-w15 5mp camera would this be a better option?

Why not get a Nikon fieldscope - they are excellent quality - and save yourself all the hassle?
