Default CP4500 remote

I've heard mixed things about the Nikon remote control for this camera. Can anyone recommend an alternate remote? Has anyone tried the harbortronics stuff?

I'm not very happy with the original Nikon RC. It responds slowly, sometimes not at all and you need sometimes to press several times till you get the shot. I guess that the internal connection is not very reliable, as when I attached the cable to the camera with velcro, I get a higher success rate. A clumsy solution.
I don't know the harbortronics stuff, but I use a standard cable relese using a cheap adapter that connects to the camera tripod socket.

The Nikon MC-EU1 remote often stopped my 4500 from powering on properly and would occasionaly forget that I had taken my finger of the button when in continuous mode. I now use an EagleEye mechanical remote release which also provides a connection for their 2x optical loupe. Never tried the Harbotronics....

Sure, use the Harbortronics DigiSnap 2000 - works great!
