I am also new to digiscoping. I have a canon rebel xt and a bushnell elite 20-60x X 80 spotting scope. I bought a bushnell adapter that screws onto the scope and another one for the camera to the scope. You need a sturdy tripod. I have taken a few pictures which have turn out quite well. I am having a problem with the weight being shifted towards the camera. I need an adapter to shift the weight forward about 3in. It is very had to keep thescope steady.

Again, check out the 260 gram Canon A-590. Get a $500 ED 80mm scope Gene
