Default Meade ETX-90 vs. Meade RedTail Spotting Scope 90mm

Is there a difference between the two besides their design ?
Im considering a Meade 90mm for digiscoping with my Canon Rebel DSLR.
Will both models be able to hook up to my DSRL ?

Thanks !

I can't find any mention of an SLR adapter for the Redtail, while the ETX series have cheap SLR adapter available.

Default I use that combi

Hi,

I have 2 etx90 and it is no problem to use them with canon 10D 300D and now 40D....
As said you buy a cheap interface.

What I would like to add is the fact that with a 35mm eyepiece and some interface you can also get a very powerfull zoom for an standard camcorder. I use a sony dcr PC 120 and with this configuration was able to make a nice movie of "chamois" (kind of montain dears) at 1.5 km from me !!

Best regards,

Sylvain
