Default sony nex adaptor with nikon scope?

After surfing both prior threads and google I still seem to be in the dark about setting up a digiscope system with my Sony nex-5n. I am interested in doing this more as a fun activity verses needing top quality for large prints and my primary concern is cost.

I am looking at this straight scope the Nikon ProStaff 20-60x82 Spotting Scope with the 20-60x zoom eyepiece. Can someone walk me (a confused beginner) through what adapter I would need to connect the scope to the Sony 5n and any other accessories I am overlooking? Is there an E-mount that connects directly into the camera or just over a lens?

Any additional advice, suggestions or links to info for a digiscope beginner using the sony nex cameras would be very appreciated.
Thanks, jeff

The Nex is an interchangable lens camera. If the Nikon has a camera adapter, then you could buy that, something called a T-mount, of which one end screws into the camera adapter, and the other end, has a Sony Nex mount on it. Thus you have a 'scope attached in the same manner as a lens.

The camera adapter in the above case replaces your existing eyepiece.

IF the Nikon doesn't have a camera adapter, you can buy one of the digiscope adapters, which is sort of a rube goldberg affair which allows you to clamp (in one way of another) the scope to one of the existing lenses of your camera. Such a riog DOES use the existing eyepiece.

This site sells adapters, and provided information on which adapter works with which lens...

Feel free to ask for clarifications....
