Default Nikon 4500 + scope without eyepiece?

Is possible to use the Nikon 4500 with a scope (just the optic tube of a mirror type telescope) without the eyepiece?
 :?: :?:

I don't think so. You need to provide the camera lens with an image to work on and without an eyepiece there are "just" converging rays of light. The normal set-up with a mirror tube is simply a camera body without a lens, that way the light comes to a focus on the CCD of the camera.

Graham.
