Just got a Meade ETX 125 which has a rear port and adapter for a camera. There is an adapter from Meade but by the description it seems to be designed for film cameras as it requires that the camera lens be removed first....

Are there any other adapters that might work with the C8080 or the C5060?

Hi Lee,

You "can" connect afocal via specialized eyepieces available from ScopeTronix and other places, but truthfully it will end up being an exercise in relative futility to get decent images.

It would be much better for you to go to EBAY and spend $350 or so for a Nikon CP series (CP990, 995, 4500, etc.) and have a really great time getting excellent images. Unfortunately, large lens cameras like the Olympus simply are not well suited for digiscoping. They are great cameras, but optically wrong for this particular application.

Best regards,

Lin
