Default Anyone using an Olympus 2500

Hello, is anyone using an Oly 2500 for digiscoping? If so which combonation of adapter and eye piece are being used? I wish to start digiscoping with this camera, but have seen many vinyetting issues revolving around the larger lens cameras. So any comments would be appreciated.

Thank You.

Hi,
Sorry to take so long to answer. Unfortunately the C2500L is really a tough camera to digiscope with. It's actually harder than using some of the other Olympus models with similar sized lenses.

I bought one of the first 2500's available and love the camera - it's truly a great instrument for general photography, but save your money and buy a little Nikon CP camera (CP950-990-995-4500, etc.) and then digiscoping will be more fun than "work" for you.

Sorry to not be more optimistic, but the C2500L is probably one of the least adaptable cameras for this purpose because of exactly what you've discovered - extreme vignetting.

Best regards,

Lin
