hi all,

lately i have tried doing some digiscoping by simply pointing my cheap telescope at the moon (about the onyl thing its good for) and pressing my digital camera up to the eyepiece and take a picture, i have found out that this is not the most effective way to do this. can someone give me some advice on digiscoping seeing the means that i have and the lack of money (iam only a 17 kid ). what i do got is the following:

a Canon A75 ''Power Shot'', and a cheap telescope which says: focal length 700mm, diam 76mm (btw it's one of those newton telescopes which works with mirrors)

thx for helping out

There are adaptors on the market which allow you to attach the scope to the camera. Some of them expensive.

Here's a link to ONE site that sells these products:

I'm posting this, and I'm sure their adapters are fine. But there are plenty of other sites to check as well.
