Default Modification to 2Plus LE-Adapter

I use the 2Plus LE-Adapter to connect my Nikon 990 to a Swarovski ST-80 HD scope. It works great as I can put it on and just tighten one screw to connect it.
I did make one modifiication to insure a perfect alignment. On two of the screws I put a plastic bushing that I made from a clear plastic ballpoint pen. These slide right over the threads. I cut them to the right size then put the adapter on the eyepiece without the camera. Then I sanded them down until there was a perfect alignment. Now with these two tightned there is always a dead center alignment between the lens and the eyyepiece.
Also since I leave the adapter connected to the camera, when I put the camera into it's case I wanted to protect the lens so I took a plastic cap from a can that snaps perfect over the adapter when it is not hooked to the scope.

Nice idea. I try and sort out the alignment by eye before going into the field but I think that I'll give this a try.
