Default A few newbie questons

I was wondering if anyone has had any success using a sony digital8 camcorder with a spotting scope, I have a DCR TRV525. I also have a Pentax ZX-7 SLR that I would like to use with a spotting scope. I have a Simmons 20-60X 60mm scope that I use with a photo adapter (it came with the scope) that screws on to the front of the scope (around the eye peice) and screws into a T-mount adapter on the SLR. Since this is a cheap spotting scope the pics are not the best, so I am looking for a high quality scope that can work with both cameras. Do any of these scopes come with a tube that will attach to a T-mount? I am into wildlife photography and am considering getting a long tele lens, but a spotting scope might be something I want to consider. Thanks for any thoughts or comments.
