Default Sedge Warbler @1600mm

Sometimes you are lucky and with warblers it is essential. Shooting into the sun gives a great light for birds in song.

Image cropped and resized. C5000 and SWHD 65mm at full zoom and 20x giving 1600m. There was no time to increase zoom on scope. Spot metering and Aito Focus helps when you do not have much time to react.

Default Nice catch, Chris...

Caught him in full song! Nice one... sometimes lady luck is working for you - in this case there was no need for more zoom, it's great just the way you framed it! Looking forward to some more shots from you soon!

Best regards,

Lin

Nice one Chris...any Digiscoped Warbler is a cause for celebration :-) Plenty of Sedge Warblers around this year. Interesting to see the 65hd in use....Trev Codlin rates it for digiscoping, certainly less bulky than the big ones.
Regards,
Andy B
