Walter,

I don't know how you did it, but it is a striking shot.

A friend of mine bought a '62 Corvette roadster in '78 in L.A.

He was going to sell it to me for $ 5,000.00 Cdn. I decided against it. I've regretted that decision over the years.

I'll bet you have regretted it. This one would probably bring $60-$75K today.

Yes I have regretted it, as well as the Sunbeam Tiger (Ford V8) and Austin Healey 3000, both in mint condition and both I could of bought for $1900 each, back in '68.

Also the '68 BSA Spitfire 650 also in prime condition for a paltry $ 500, back in '77.

But I did buy one vintage motorcycle, that I haven't had to regret, not getting.

A '67 Matchless 750cc Scrambler, Desert Sled.
