hi, its quite easy to do in photoshop for anyone who understands how to use layers, its just a matter of cutting away what u dont want and adding the white frame, intill u add the frame and drop shadow the image still appears flat, kind of like adding drop shadow to text making it look to lift of the page.

re the bread of dog, dont know really he was a stray puppy when we took him in, he as quite a few breads in him, never quite pinned him down to what exactly
