I shot this photo at a Bobby Vinton concert. In PS I clicked on the face under hue/sat and lowered the sat to 0. It creates a nice affect.

I don't stop into the Digital Art forum very often, and I guess not too many others do either, so you might want to try posting this in the Critiques forum. It may be digital art, but the style is very traditional and in this case, well executed. To me the balance of light and dark as well as color and b&w seems just right. I hope the resolution of the original is nice and sharp, it looks like it would make a very nice print. I'd recommend upsizing it at least 50% if you do decide to repost it though.

The only criticism I might have is that the blue seems a little too vivid compared to the yellow of the sax and draws the eye away from the more important aspects of the image. Of course, when printed it might come out just right depending on the printer used, so don't go throwing anything away.

Good work, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your comments. The blue color you talked about is probably too intense, a very valid critique. I was surprised how easy it was to change the photo from a normal color shot into something more interesting.
