Yes we certainly do have a failure to communicate. Your second photo is easy to understand. But your first photo is either just a simple picture of a plastic head or you have altered a photo to appear as made of plastic. In one case its just a picture, while in the second case its something incredible. Which is it? Since the photo is in digitally altered forum just what did you start with? A photo of a real person or a plastic sculpture? Im just trying to understand what it is you are showing us. No need to be snarky about it.

think the problem is this.....is the first image a modified portrait or a shot of a moulded head

if its modified its something like plastic wrap or gel effect

2nd image is like solarise or glowing edges filter in photoshop

either way i like the fists shot.......not keen on 2nd

Exactly the problem Gary. Are we looking at simply a photo of a molded plastic head or a photograph of an actual person which has been pasticized in photoshop. If its just a plastic mold then thats fine. But if its all post processing in photoshop then Im very impressed. Id just like to know what it is Im looking at. The secrecy seems to lie in the fact its for some show. Well I asked that after the show some explanation be given to at least know WHAT we are looking and and not necessarily how it was achieved. Although if it was post production in photoshop then Id certainly like to know how it was done because Im certainly interested in that aspect.
