Hey!!! Haven't been here in awhile and came back and saw the OOB post! OOB's are so much fun and you've all done a terrific job, for sure!

I'm not sure if everyone has seen my OOB or not...I posted it in Sept. '08. If you

haven't seen it, I'd like to share it......

Original....

Thanks for posting the link to thattutorial. This is the most fun Ive had with PSE EVER!!

No problem, here's the ooc of my oob. Thanks again Bynx.

Going back for the orig. I saw that the next frame didn't clip the rail at the top, now wish I used that one for the first. Oh well... it's funny the things you notice and when you notice them...

You got me thinking Bynx, about seeing it different ways. Here's another take using that other frame.

rmuir, I think your OOB is absolutely fantastic. What a creative way of showing that 3D effect. Outstanding.

Nearsighted Bee or, are those flowers real?
Not really sure if this is OOB but it is close.

Caryl, it looks like an OOB (Out of Box). It is for sure if the bee is part of the actual photo. If its just been added later then its not a real OOB. When some element(s) of a photo are cropped in such a way that part of the photo extends beyond the border created giving a 3D effect, then thats an OOB. My explanation falls way short of the great examples that have been posted.

rmuir, would you mind posting the original shot of your overhead staircase view? I think yours is the first OOB Ive seen that actually came out over the 4 sides. Just excellent.

Another try, out of the box and into the fog.

I like the 3-D feel of that. Is is the Embarcadero?
