Nice job. Only thing I would change is extend the background down a bit so the names of the boys can be below the photo instead of on the border.

What you have done is pretty slick, emptyquiver. But an OOB should have most or at least part of the subject inside a picture box with part sticking out giving it a 3D look. To someone not familiar with OOBs your image looks like a close cropped auto placed over a picture box, giving the appearance of two completely separate objects. Your shadows on the words works well. I would have done the same shadowing on the front end of the car before doing the word shadows. Im just quibbling over small stuff. I like the image. Well done.

Ooohh, nice job. Its more what I picture as an OOB. I see a few thin white lines chris crossing the image. Strange. I really like what you have done to the type.

i tried this yesterday following a online guide but kept stumbling at one point, i think im going to have to get a full blown version of photoshop and make the step up from elements
