Default Classic car

As some of you know, I like to photograph antique and classic cars (www.pbase.com/gwcoles). I'm always trying out new ways to present a car in a different manner. Here is a 1939 Oldsmobile. C&C welcome.

Default Fantastic!!

This is a great picture, Walter!

Incredible sharpness, crispiness, lighting and perfect perspective on that beautiful car.

It goes together well with the semi-opacity of the logo and the brightly colored flag.

Good job, Walter!

looks good, the angle of the shot is nice and you did a nice job of placing it in the flag.

the only thing that i wonder is if the semitransparent oldsmobile logo might work better below the car, so its not crossing the border of the stars/stripes.

Thanks, guys. Hards80, I played with "Oldsmobile" for a long time before deciding where I liked it. Here's what you suggested, but somewhat smaller in size.

i think i like it better maybe. it cleans up the top part of the frame where the interesting hood details and the border of stars n stripes are. but, both images look great.

Hi Walter...I think it looks great! I do have to agree with Hards80 about the logo. As per usual, your work is awesome!!

Beautiful shot, but I think the dark stars, detracts from the car, whereas the stripes, set the car off.
