You've captured that "moment of truth" perfectly. The posture, the confident and determined expression, the shading, the whole works! Very nicely done!

I really like what you've done here. This sort of thing is something I admire but don't have the skill or knowledge to even start.

Ditto. While I hate to make a comparison with Lincohn Rockwell, because this image is more abstract, it captures the kind of emotion and tension that he made his reputation on. When I stare at it long enough, all I see is an 11 year old getting into his groove.

I'll echo the others - really great work. I love the background as well. This is really unique stuff. How long does it take you to do this type of processing?

Awww...thanks bunches everyone!! Your comments mean a lot to me...good or bad...helps me to learn and gives me motivation!

DAVE: Norman Rockwell has always been one of my fave artists!!

JOHNG: I have never recorded how long it takes me to do a painting. I have worked on a painting on and off over 2 weeks and that's working on it everyday, a few hours each day. Other times a painting will take me just a couple of hours...it just depends on the subject.

So who is Lincohn Rockwell?
Dont know how I missed this one Babe, but glad I found it at last. Absopositively incredible. A feast for my eyes as I wonder at your talent. I wish I could show you how much I appreciate that talent. A beacon of light shining down through the murky depths of us hacks.

LOL....you're toooooo funny Bynx! But...I certainly appreciate your kind words. And yeah, who IS Lincohn Rockwell?? I just saw the name Rockwell without paying any attention to the first name and took for granted that it was Norman Rockwell that Dave was talking about.

Curiosity got the better of me. Lincoln Rockwell, not Lincohn Rockwell, was the founder of the American Nazi Party. Nice guy actually. That is, of course, if you were white and non Jewish.
