Default One cool ride

Here in Huntington Beach we see more than our share of old "Woodies". Here's a nice classic 1936 Ford. 1) adjustments in CS3, 2) masked, 3) added a shot of a tile floor to the black background, 4) copied and flipped the car and placed it behind the tile floor layer for a reflection effect. C&C welcome.

No comments? It's one of my favorite "creations". Hmmm.

Well I will pop in here and say your best to date. This car looks like its firmly planted on the floor. Im still trying to figure out how the shadow should be to make the car look like its on the floor and not floating just above it. Nice job on this. You could get a job in a graphics house close cropping objects that go in catalogues.

Your passion for old vehicles is reflected in your images. Great job. If memory serves me correctly, I believe Ansel Adams drove an old woodie...

Nice photo!!! As always.

Must be me, but I sure like cars before the 1940's... Nothing like an old car. Thanks for sharing this.

Great Job Walter but can I mention something here as for the reflection. The shadow does indeed make it seem to float above off the floor but if you could close up the gap between the running boards that should cure the problem.... I know it would mean to do a few more crop and pastes of the tires and them the body and make sure the tires meet at the eds of where its flatten out on the floor rather than have the round look as tires have some flatness to them.. I hope this takes care of the floating feeling by closing the gap in between the running boards... SSG
