Default The City From It's Worst Side

Multiple manipulations. Bad exposure turned into "old style" colour photo, as seen in retrospective photo books

The pictures are optimized for slideshows. The slideshow button is at the upper right. Please use your loudspeakers. There is some music, progressive music from the seventies in the different galleries.

How come this monochrome version looks more authentic, or doesn't it

A little too much sky for my taste. I think it would look better cropped to more of a panorama...featuring the city scape.

Walter,

Yes, you're right. What do you prefer - the 16:9 or the 2:1?

Torgny

And: is there a way to make the foreground lighter without further "washing it out"

The 2:1 aspect

No, there's something else. What's wrong with it - I can't identify it myself

Before the colour photo there was the coloured photo. I think. How to achieve that "look". Ps has under the saturation an option "Old style" that significantly desaturates the colours

Both crops are an improvement, Torgny. I think I prefer the 2:1 aspect version...but only slightly.
