Default Reddog Painting

This is the second painting(attempt) I'm doing for my friend. She had to put her stockdog(Aussie) down about a month ago. Any suggestions of what I need to work on to improve it is appreciated.

That looks great don't looks like ya need to do much to it at all! I am sure your friend will love this.. sad to hear of a lost of such . I had to leave my own Blue heeler dog as I went into a shelter I miss her she was a very protective one to meas I raised her in close quarters.

Thats really nice, I'm sure the people will be over the moon with it. I woulden't change anything. Amazing it's come out so well from such a small section of the original.
Excelent, I want one.

Nice go at it.
A little advice on the hair, lighter strokes and more layers.

Tell your friend I'm sorry about her dog. I remember when you posted a while back saying the end was near.

I think your creation will make a wonderful memory.

Thank You SSG, Condorman, Walter C, laurel99, Justin Thyme for looking and commenting. Yes, ll99..3 weeks after I was up to see Reddog, the decision was made to put her down, she was sarting to go down hill fast. Justin Thyme, I was undecided about the bold crisp hair, so here is a different version that is a little softer. Which version does everyone like the best.

i really like this .... not sure if this would be better or not by losing the greenery around the left handside as viewed behind her head i only attempted this very quickly as time is limited on a morning.....

Thank You Simple for the comment and taking time to play with this a bit. Dont know if I like it without the greenery on the left...may add it back and add some more to very upper left to balance it our more with the right. Probably will send my friend a couple different versions and let her decide which one she wants to send off to get a print and mount.
