and yes, I'm actually from Gladstone, which is just a few miles up the road from Escanaba.

Hey Hoff I lived there when I was really young from 4yo to 10 yo. I was just reminessing about the winters spent there. I lived on lakeshore drive and used to go ice skateing along with some cross country skiing. As I remember it got down right cold and specifically remember that when the snow plow came through I coud not see over the snow banks that were pushed over to the side..Anyway it is nice to hear from some one from that neck of the woods. Happy Holidays to you too. We just got our first big dumping of snow last weekend along with the rest of the US... any where from 5-20 inches fell across the whole UP and I'm loving it.
