Default Sandpiper

An image of a American Sandpiper. What caught my attention with this image is the Sandpiper appears to be looking at his own reflection.

I really don't know why I digitally modified this image, other than I thought it might look a bit more serene.

The clarity and soft colours are quite spectacular. You could proudly hang this on your wall.

Very nice. I like the composition -- bird, stones, reflection -- and the processing. It looks like a watercolor painting.

You succeeded, Zig. It DOES look serene and calm. Good one!

HI,

Thanks. Based on some of the work you've posted, I'm nowhere near as adept as you at post processing. But I keep trying various features in CS5. Some come out okay, as I think this one did. While some are just plain duds.
