Default Couple of watercolour attempts

Iv been messing about with Photoshop lately trying to learn how to use it properly and I decided to try and do a couple of watercolour effect pictures.

What do youz think?

thanks. I prefer the port pic myself. the other pic was just one i found that i thought really needed something done to it and i was just experimenting.

Well done.
An appropriate subject for that filter
As well as the decision to create a feathered selection ( or a smooth erasing ) around the borders, like most pictures of this kind.

All is missing you now is a nice wooden frame : u should find it in the default PhotoShop actions.

Thanks for the comments, im still quite new to photoshop and im just experimenting with effects at the moment, must have a look and see if i can find any frames.
