Default Marble Worms

I was messing around with my camera at the bowling alley and decided to take a picture of the carpet. Well, it turned out horribly out of focus and just a terrible picture in general.

I was going through my pictures later when I decided that I would try to pull something out of nothing in PhotoShop....just to see if I could do it.

About an hour later, this is what I was left with. I think it looks pretty interesting, and it's now my desktop.

Full Resolution (2592 x 1944)

Just thought I'd share this odd creation.

I believe that I created this picture, not sergio.... but I could be wrong. :P

And to answer you question.... I obviously did a lot to this picture, much of which I have forgotten, but I can give you the basics. I deleted the dark part in order to make it black, badly oversaturated the colors, changed the hue, embossed the lines (among other layer style adjustments), and ran a plastic wrap filter.

There are probably some details that I've left out here that made the picture work, but I can't remember everything that I did.

Apologies JaroDefer

When I was writing my message, I scrolled down to see who the author was but did not scroll down far enough sorry.

Thanks for the explanation, it is an interesting effect you have created and I was curious on how you had achieved it.
