I got this idea from Chipseh's post.
Four images showing the before and after. For the first one I held my circular polarizing filter from my film camera in front of the lens to remove the reflections on the glass. The reflection in the last one is from my pillow.
I can see flaws so I'm not entirely happy. But for a first attempt it's a good starting block. Something to play with I think.

i like the original shots better.....you did a very nice job on the first one...the polarizer was a great idea...very clear and sharp, just enough DOF...good job

Agood idea the polarizer lens to remove reflections...

And the first one is very sharp indeed.

Still, I like the background being the same color of the inner part of the watch !
