Thanks to each of you for the very kind comments. This is one of my favorite photos (pre AND post flood) and is an example of shoot first, think later. While climbing the hill I noticed this guy with the kite and his kids. I just fired off one or two shots before the packed up and left. I'm usually a "shy" photographer and would never start shooting a perfect stranger, but, for some reason, I just could not resist.

Probably more than you wanted to know. Sorry.

In the "blowing my own horn" department...

The "original" image just won "Grand Prize" for August on NikonNet!! I couldn't believe it when I got the email from NikonNet, but now that the image is posted...WOW!
